The corporate learning landscape is rapidly evolving with the introduction of new AI-driven tools like Chat GPT, and LinkedIn is awash with both positive and negative experiences. So, does AI have a place in your content development strategy? In this session you will gain a deeper understanding of the ways in which AI is impacting course content development, as well as practical strategies for leveraging technologies like Chat GPT to your content development process. We will update your understanding of GIGO (Garbage In Garbage Out) as it applies to the art of constructing effective prompts to maximize the quality of the AI-driven output. Participants will also work in small groups to create an AI-assisted course storyboard with objectives, at least one activity, and at least one section with in-depth content.

The session will cover:

• The benefits and challenges of incorporating AI into your training and development strategy

• Examples of successful AI prompt execution to get the results you need

• The “Hamburger Approach” to learning design, leveraging AI as a brainstorming partner or learning development collaborator rather than as a substitute creator

Throughout the session you will have the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions and activities that will allow you to explore the ways in which AI can be applied in your own workflow. By the end of the session, you will have a clear understanding of the potential role of AI in corporate learning and development and be equipped with the knowledge and tools you need to begin incorporating this exciting technology into your own content development process.
