P08 Moving Your Storyline Skills to the Next Level

8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Tuesday, April 11

Articulate Storyline has the functionality to allow you to create almost any kind of eLearning design you can imagine. But, when you’re ready to move beyond the built-in templates, it’s time to start creatively applying triggers, variables, and other Storyline features to design your own unique, engaging, and interactive eLearning courses.

When you use more advanced Articulate Storyline features, you can create unique customized learning experiences that are interactive, engaging, and intricate. So, if you’re ready to begin designing your own custom interactions, this hands-on workshop will provide you with tips, tricks, and techniques you can put to use immediately and begin to unleash your creativity. Through a variety of exercises that we’ll work through together, you’ll learn how to use many intermediate/advanced features that you can put into practice in your projects. Once you learn more about incorporating variables, conditional triggers, master slides, and more into your designs, you will be able to confidently develop engaging courses that are only limited by your imagination.

In this session, you will learn:

  • The difference between text, number, and boolean variables
  • To control objects, layers, and states with variables and conditional triggers
  • How to use navigation pathways to create branched lessons and scenarios
  • To leverage motion paths and animations to create custom interactions
