As companies shift to new models of distributed workforces, with hybrid approaches and asynchronous work, online learning and development has never been more critical. Online learning is predominantly independent and much of it lacks interaction and learning application.

In this session, you’ll learn how to design cohort-based online learning programs that are engaging and achieve substantial skill development and mastery for learners. You’ll explore how a cohort-based learning experience provides opportunities for social engagement and knowledge sharing within an organization. You’ll also learn how a blend of independent learning and interactive elements like projects and activities allows for skill application and synthesis. Combining these elements creates an environment where learners are motivated to participate and contribute. You’ll leave this session with an understanding of cohort-based learning programs and the tools to design your own.
