Research shows there’s a significant disconnect between what leaders want L&D to look and function like in the modern organization, and the reality. Several large companies are still struggling to move away from course-centric training mechanisms to continuous on-the-job learning. The modern business demands real time learning. L&D needs to move away from an ‘event’ mindset to a more continuous approach to improve knowledge retention. The rapid expansion of software applications has led to a widening skill gap among employees. It’s not surprising that ‘reskilling’ and ‘upskilling’ are right up there among L&D priorities for 2022.

Hurrsh Kaoul has been a sales person for more than 20 years, donning multiple hats from being an individual contributor to a regional lead. He has built sales teams across multiple regions such as the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and India. At Whatfix, he leads the Large Enterprise East Americas Sales team. Prior to joining Whatfix, he ran his own consulting firm and worked with international and domestic start-ups to help create clear sales strategies. He has worked with CDN, IT product, SaaS, software services companies, and managed regional enterprise sales teams at Akamai, Pitney Bowes Software, Oracle, RMSI, and Flex.
