In 2020, Katie joined Patterson & Dewar Engineers (P&D) and Hood Patterson & Dewar (HP&D) as the employee development specialist. Katie supports the employee development program that enables employees in offices in five states, including a large team of registered professional engineers (PEs), degreed engineers, and career test technicians. With over 10 years of experience in learning and development, Katie has a strong background in learning theory and design experience. She specializes in identifying the needs of individuals while creating training experiences that engage learners. Katie’s focus on continuous improvement and process refinement has allowed the employee development program to become more efficient and effective for all employees.
