Phill is a long-time leader in EdTech, mostly because he went to school for way too long, and couldn’t get away… Computer Science, an MBA, and Law School—it just wasn’t enough. It’s now been nearly 20 years in EdTech, since joining a startup called ANGEL Learning. Time at Blackboard, Moodlerooms (now Open LMS), Oxygen Education, and stints on the boards of IMS Global and ClearScholar give him a unique perspective on the market. Father of four, when he’s not at his MacBook, he’s probably trying to waterski (poorly) or reading a book about princesses or PAW Patrol with his kids.
