Stephanie Rivera loves pushing the limits of visual communications by walking the line of designer and storyteller. She received her master’s degree from the University of South Florida in digital media and design, and her bachelor’s degree in graphic design. Before joining WGU Academy, Stephanie was art director at the University of South Florida where she oversaw the multimedia production for graduate programs. She contributed to transforming classroom instruction into immersive, interactive learning for online learners. Stephanie played a key role at USF where she championed the production of the university’s first accessible and interactive eBook as part of the Textbook Affordability Project. The eBook has won several awards and has been downloaded from the iTunes Store globally. Over the years, her work has been recognized with several esteemed awards, including Hermes, Telly, MarCom, NCMPR Paragon, and AFC awards. She currently works as the senior multimedia designer for WGU Academy, leading visual design standards that enhance course experiences based in learning science and learner feedback.
